How We are Learning What our Healthcare and Education Clients Need

The past few weeks have been busy as leaders in Healthcare and Education construction capital programs gathered for Kahua’s innovation councils! The conversations were focused on how technology can further enable their teams to work more efficiently and effectively, delivering critical facilities to our community.

The Healthcare Innovation Council kicked off with a use case on how one of the largest healthcare networks in the world was utilizing work orders across its network for ongoing maintenance and improvements of its facilities. This was followed by an open discussion around commissioning capabilities being developed, further enhancing Kahua’s asset management capabilities. Next up was an update to the Healthcare Risk Management suite’s infection control risk assessment (ICRA) capabilities and enhancements and reports now delivered via dashboards specifically developed for healthcare programs.

Kahua’s first Education Innovation Council was held with leaders in K-12 and higher education, all leveraging the purpose build Kahua for Education platform. The Kahua team kicked off with a discussion around the configurability of its dashboards and how specific data can be delivered to a variety of stakeholders. Kahua’s sources of funds capabilities and how funding sources are managed and tracked via multiple appropriations was also part of the discussion. Those capabilities deliver visibility to understand your reserves and releases of all funds on a project and how they are distributed. Last up was punch lists, online/offline capabilities and updated view and QR scanning functionality of assets.

A special thanks to @Centrenium, @Procon and @EZapps, three of Kahua’s strategic app development partners, for joining and engaging with Kahua customers on their specific needs and requirements. Continuous improvement and leveraging the expertise of the Kahua Network is core to Kahua’s culture and success. In this ever-changing dynamic environment that our customers live in, we are excited to bring an environment of continuous innovation that our customers and partners can leverage.

We look forward to our in-person innovation councils to be held in the fall at Enabling Innovation 2022!
