Honoring Visionaries Who Are Building the Future of Construction Tech

This week’s Kahua Enabling Innovation conference was a remarkable opportunity for networking and collaboration, bringing together our valued partners and customers. Though I get to work with our incredible customer base daily, the stories that are shared at this event continue to amaze me.

Whether it be the main sessions or just hallway conversations, the impact Kahua and our ecosystem of customers and partners spreads so much farther than we realize in our day-to-day life. The event buzzed with excitement as attendees shared best practices, explored the latest advancements in our construction project management software and exchanged recommendations for optimizing project performance. Our mission at Kahua is to enable the industry to innovate, and this event helps make that statement tangible.

Throughout the conference held at corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, Ga., the focus was on empowering participants to make the most of Kahua’s tools and capabilities. From in-depth discussions on workflow optimization to exploring ways to enhance project efficiency, every session offered insights into how Kahua’s platform can help teams achieve more.

The most exciting stories were the ones that I got to be “surprised” by. Customers and partners have done some absolutely incredible things leveraging Kahua’s platform, and I leave energized when I learn of a challenge our ecosystems were able to solve with our technology. The collaborative atmosphere allowed everyone to learn from each other, fostering a deeper understanding of the shared challenges and opportunities in construction project management.

A major highlight of the conference was the celebration of those who have demonstrated excellence and leadership within the Kahua community. These awards underscore the value of partnership, collaboration and innovative thinking. By recognizing the individuals and teams pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, we’re reinforcing our commitment to shaping a brighter future for the construction industry.

The Individual Innovator Award represents the out-of-the-box thinkers who pave the way to promote an innovative vision of how we can shape the future of the construction industry. The winner of this award is Bert Aultman with Procon Consulting. Bert’s industry experience and broad knowledge of Kahua enables him to think outside the box when it comes to driving success within the Kahua ecosystem. Bert has played a leadership role on numerous Kahua engagements and has been integral in the design of Kahua’s Asset Centric Project Management offering.

"Definitionally, this award acknowledges the out-of-the-box thinkers who pave the way to promote an innovative vision of how Kahua can shape the future of the construction industry, but Bert exemplifies how having a vision is just one part of what makes a great innovator," said Kahua's Director of Partner Engagement Henry Marsh when announcing the award. "Bert is able to take that vision for the future, map out how to get there from where we are today and bring others with him along the way.

"It is that combination of visioning, solutioning, and teaching that makes Bert an exceptional leader and Kahua’s Individual Innovator of the year."
