Kahua Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance

The Construction Project Management Platform continues to expand their scope of security protocols.

Kahua, the creator of the world’s premier cloud-based collaborative network for real estate and construction project management, today announced they have successfully completed a Service Organization Control (SOC 2) Type 2 audit. The SOC 2 Type 2 audit, conducted by Coalfire Controls, LLC, an independent CPA firm, affirms that Kahua’s cloud service systems and stated controls were suitably designed and operated effectively throughout the audit report period.

SOC 2 Type 2 certification, established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), follows a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation of the design and operating effectiveness of a service organization’s security controls across key areas relevant to the safe handling of customer data.

“Achieving SOC 2 and maintaining certification throughout the Type 2 reporting period reflects Kahua’s continued commitment to protecting our customers’ data and their privacy,” said Colin Whitlatch, CTO, Kahua. “Kahua is continually expanding the scope of our compliance programs, now including SOC 2 and FedRAMP Moderate, to offer our customers the peace of mind to communicate and collaborate securely on The Kahua Network.”
