Even Experts Can Learn from ‘Construction 101’
At Kahua, we continue to invest in the future of our industry. We have built best in class solutions on our state-of-the-art low code application platform. We invest in growing the ecosystem of partners that can tailor solutions to fit client needs.
But this week we invested in ourselves by going back to school. At the start to our annual kick-off meeting, team members from across the organization attended construction industry training presented by COAA (Construction Owners Association of America) Executive Director Howie Ferguson.
Collaborating with COAA, the Kahua team helped create a new curriculum that can be offered to other construction-related organizations. Construction 101 is presented from an owner’s perspective and is meant to help the non-construction related staff members better understand what takes place on the jobsite.
Kahua was founded by and is led by seasoned construction industry professionals. But experience working on a construction project is not a requirement for many job descriptions. You don’t have to know construction to create the world’s most secure project management software. You don’t have to know construction to manage a payroll system or a benefit plan.
But for all our clients, construction is vital, so we invested in making sure our entire team understands the value of what we do. The better a company understands the problems that its clients face, the more committed it can be to solving those problems. At Kahua we are all in, 100% focused on helping our clients bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Thank you, Howie, for your ongoing commitment to the industry and for joining us this week!
