• Think long and hard about required integration points ... integrations between
federal IT systems are complicated!
• GSA had to develop separate API intermediary connection points using Mulesoft
for all integrations; system-to-system connections were not allowed
• All incoming data and documents have to be stored in Kahua to be presented to
users in Kahua
• Think through integration support and maintenance given the amount of content
being transacted
