Manny Innamorato recently concluded a distinguished government career dedicated to integrating business operations with cutting-edge technology. He remains an engaged professional, actively contributing to the field. One of the foundational experiences that shaped his vision for public service was serving on the campaign staff of Friends of Mario Cuomo. Currently, Manny is a strategic advisor to several clients as they seek to modernize their operations through digitalization. He is collaborating with a technology implementor to bring innovative solutions to their business challenges. During his tenure as the Chief Information Officer at the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA), Manny spearheaded a digital-first revolution over ten transformative years. He drove change leadership and digital transformation, enhancing government efficiency through innovative tech solutions and laying the groundwork for the next wave of AI applications. With a keen focus on disruptive technology trends, Manny has been instrumental in modernizing government functions throughout his 34-year public service career. His strategic partnerships have redefined how agencies deliver services and fulfill their missions. Before his impactful role at the SCA, he served as CIO for the NYC MTA Bus, where he continued to align operational needs with technological advancements. At the SCA, Manny led significant initiatives, including the replacement of the Project Management system, Cost Estimating and Change Order processes, deployment of a field drawing management system, and the introduction of multiple inspection applications. Beginning his career as a developer, Manny has consistently connected operational and technology professionals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the City University of New York
